On Saturday 22 September 2007 Apple Inc. opened it’s eleventh store in the UK. The store is located in the Touchwood centre, Solihull.
Having never been to an opening before and living within 50 miles I decided to attend. I arrived at about 07:40 in the morning to find I was about eighth in the queue. [...]

After the refresh of the iPod line-up from Apple two weeks ago I thought about why each model could survive and sell without affecting the others. This led me to consider each iPods USP (Unique Selling Proposition). My take on this is shown in the chart below;

Apple today announced the introduction of multi-colored iPod Shuffles. As well as the original second generation iPod Shuffle in silver there are now blue, orange, green, and pink versions. One ’secret’ [OK not really a secret but something that's missing from early reports] is that the new shuffles come with new style earphones. These [...]
Yet again Apple has revolutionized the consumer electronics industry.
Today, in San Francisco, Apple unveiled the iPhone which is three devices in one. Having used mobile phones and smart phones for many years the demonstrations on the Apple website show just how well thought out this device is.
First it’s a wide-screen iPod that starts at 4Gb [...]
