The general Google website of google.com is very elegant becuase of it’s clean uncluttered design. However, often the results returned from a search are overwhelming.

There is a little known fact that Google is available as a more focused search where the results are more related to your requirements.

This is especially useful when searcing for bargains, but also works just fine for information. The results also seem to be based on your location [the location you perform the search from].
