Where Apple Inc. gets its Inspiration

I think I know where Apple gets some of inspiration.
Being a fan of Apple and Bang & Olufsen I have noticed some similarities in their design solutions. This is even more interesting when you consider that B&O were first to market with their designs.
First - Take a look at this image from the Apple site that shows details of the new Airport Extreme device…

Now take a look at the B&O web site for it’s Beolink devices…

Notice any similarities?
Second - Take a look at the MacPro computer with it’s perforated aluminium case.

Then take a look at the case of the Beosound 1 music system which also has a perforated aluminium case [front].

B&O specialises in the use of aluminium. Apple also uses it for Desktops, Laptops, and iPods.
Third - Take a look at the click wheel of the iPod; a scrolling outer dial with a push button centre.

Then take a look at the Beocom 4 phone from B&O which has a scroll and push button interface.

OK so Apple has developed the scroll to a touch sensitive version but I think you will agree there are similarities here.
What will be next do you think?
