Knoll Albini Desk

I was reading a new magazine called T3Home recently when I came across this desk which is considered a design classic. Designed in 1958 by Franco Albini and selling for £2150 means it is something I can only admire and dream of owning.
I prefer the white version. The drawer unit appears to float under the glass top and within the chrome frame.
I like the reductionist principles at play here, the simplicity of form, and the engineering employed.
I think this blog is going to become my want list.
